The Energy Fields of our body

The Energy Fields of our body

Yoga talks about the different fields of our body. In my younger days, I did not give much credence to the fields and the concepts of fields. Looking back from this point in time, I realize that particles of this universe and its fields are one and the same. One is an extension of the other. A disturbance of a field is felt by the particle too, as both are the same.

That brings out the question, are we affected by the different fields that exists around us?

The electromagnetic field of this laptop on which I am writing this blog is influencing me ever so subtly. The electric wires and all electrical gadgets that I use in my daily life is affecting me. The ultraviolet radiations from the sun as well as the infrared radiations are affecting me, positively and negatively. The membranes that surround our cells has a very mild charge difference between the inside and the outside of a cell. This membrane is affected by minute charge differences rather than a large charge. This brings to focus the fact that we use gadgets operating with very low voltages.

The bacteria in our intestines produces an ultraviolet radiation spectrum. The mitochondria within our cells produce infrared and bio-photons. Our melanin layer can absorb a plethora of radiation and convert most into ATP. via extra mitochondrial ATP generation. Even our mitochondria can absorb infrared light and speed up the ATP production.

Are our cells in communication with each other with light and at the speed of light? Are our intestinal bacteria modulating some body functions through the radiation that it produces? These are deep questions to which, we do not have answers. If there is a regulatory effect, will dysfunctions arise out of damage to the microbiota or the mitochondria?

When we take antibiotics, processed food or are exposed to harmful chemicals or to radiations, we might expect physical insults to the mitochondria or the microbiota. It might be in our best interest to take care of these organisms that are symbiotic or endosymbiotic in their relationship with us.
